• It was one of my most difficult artworks.
About a man who cheated death again and again, stepping beyond the limits of the possible… and unexpectedly left, leaving behind an entire page in history.
Felix Baumgartner (Fearless Felix) - the first person to break the sound barrier in free fall. A jump from almost 39,000 meters, speeds of over 1,357 km/h, world records in altitude, distance, and vertical velocity.
Every time I heard his name, I caught myself thinking: “When I grow up, I’ll do the same.” Even though I’ve been an adult for a long time already. He was giving the dream, that very spark of childlike fire within.
Strangely, he left just as I began working on this canvas dedicated to him…
